What we collect

When you accept a quote, or ask us to email it to you, we collect your email address and the details of the job you priced. When you send your drawings we collect your name, phone number, site address, ABN if you give one, any notes, and the PDF drawings you attach. When you call us we collect the number you call from. The site records the pages you visit and the events on them through Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion measurement, without names attached; when you accept a quote, Google receives a hashed form of your email address to match the visit to an ad click.

Your browser also keeps a note of how you arrived: the page you landed on, the site that linked to it, and any campaign tags in the link. It stays in your browser and reaches us only with a quote you accept or ask us to email, so we can tell which advertising works.

Why we collect it

To send you the quote, prepare and deliver the report, invoice you, and answer your questions. The drawings are used only to prepare the report you asked for. We do not sell or rent personal information and we do not send marketing email unless you ask for it.

Where it goes

Your quote, details and drawings are emailed to our operations inbox and to you, through Resend, our email provider. Reports are prepared by our registered certifiers. Analytics data is processed by Google under its own privacy policy. We keep the drawings and the report for the period our professional obligations require, then delete them.

The link in your quote email

The quote email carries a link that identifies your quote for 30 days so you can send your drawings without re-entering it. Anyone with the link can see the quote and send drawings against it, so treat it like a booking reference.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Reply to any email we sent you, or call the number in the footer. We handle personal information under the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
