Every report is prepared from your drawings and signed by an A1 registered certifier (registration 2211). BCA Reports is the fixed-fee report service of Absolute Approvals Pty Ltd, ABN 24 692 552 784. No site inspection, no quote round: your drawings, assessed against the NCC and signed by a registered certifier.

Do I need a BCA report at all?
Send the drawings and a certifier tells you within one business day. If the job does not need a report, we say so.
What don't you quote online?
More than 3 dwellings, Class 5–9 at 2,000 m² or over, Class 2, 3, 4 and 9c, mixed use, fire-engineered performance solutions, and alterations without as-built drawings. Send them through anyway: a certifier scopes it and replies with a fixed price inside a business day. Unauthorised works we don't take on.
Who signs the report?
An A1 registered certifier. Name and licence on the cover of every report.
What counts as the included revision?
A re-issue responding to council or assessor comments on the same design. A redesigned building is a new report.
Which performance solutions do you do?
Light and ventilation, stairs, handrails, tactile indicators and weep holes, at $4,400 inc GST ($4,000 + GST) each with one revision, in 72 hours. Fire-engineered solutions are scoped and quoted separately.
Can you also be our certifier?
Generally not on the same job. Tell us who's certifying and we'll check it.
What if my plans are incomplete?
We'll tell you what's missing. The 72 hours starts once the set's there.
Where do you work?
Australia-wide. The report is prepared from your drawings against the NCC, which applies nationally, so the site can be anywhere in Australia. The approval itself is decided by your council or certifier in that state.
How do I pay?
We invoice you once your drawing set is confirmed. The report is released when the invoice is paid. No card payment online.
